On the water today with the Flying G Ranch crew, Mike “Doughboy”, Camden & Paxton, it was a really windy one today which made things very challenging! Boat control and bait presentation was super important in heavy chop, had to bounce around a little more than I have been, the wind coming out of the west had some fish more scattered and finicky at times, but they ended up with a good mess of crappie and sandbass for our hard work today, fished 5-25 FOW various structure and suspended using all Artificals, thanks again guys! I started welding straight out of high school for various shops for roughly 5-6 years just to get by, I knew I was good at it and made decent money right out of school, but I had enough &amp; the fishing bug had bitten me! My love for crappie fishing really got serious about 8-10 years ago even before live scope was a thing, while working my full-time welding job, I decided to start guiding part-time on the evenings &amp; weekends and I was doing really well with it.
