Scouting Trip to Oologah Lake

Made a scouting trip to Oologah today since it’s been a few weeks! I don’t know that I thawed out yet from my Tournament at Kaw yesterday but there are Slabs to be caught & work to be done! Put on my Norfin USA and hit the water! It was chilly but not windy finally!! I started out looking at some structures I like to normally fish and it was either empty or full of drinks, water temp down to 47-49 so I revised my game plan and stepped out into deeper water, and started picking off suspended fish in 13-26ft of water & the bite was AGGRESSIVE!! Caught my limit using Cut Throat Jig Company “Snowman” paired up with Falcon Rods 13’ spooled with MAD Fishing 15lb braid, kept a few for a meal, and donated the rest to some less fortunate bank fisherman! They were extremely happy!
